Overview

Fiorenzano, nestled in the vibrant heart of Naples at Via Pignasecca, is a culinary treasure that perfectly captures the essence of traditional Neapolitan flavors. This family-run restaurant thrives among bustling fish and vegetable markets, lending an authentic, lively atmosphere to the dining experience. Here, simplicity meets quality, making it an ideal spot for those seeking genuine local cuisine without the frills of formal dining.

The highlight of Fiorenzano's menu is its delightful variety of fried specialties, particularly the Cuoppo Di Mare—a generous cone filled with a medley of fresh, lightly fried seafood that offers a crisp texture without being overly greasy. Another standout is the Frittura Piccola Mista, a sampler that includes classic Neapolitan street food such as arancini, crostoni di ricotta, and crocchè. Each bite showcases the mastery behind humble ingredients transformed into rich, comforting dishes.

For those intrigued by more adventurous flavors, Fiorenzano offers traditional offal dishes like tripe and a cow stomach mix, both elevated by simple yet effective seasonings like lemon juice and salt. These dishes reflect a deep respect for Naples’ culinary heritage and the resourcefulness of its people.

Pasta lovers will appreciate the Spaghetti Alla Nerano, a dish that pairs pasta with zucchini and cheese for a subtle, satisfying taste. Meanwhile, the Polli E Patate selections provide hearty options for a more substantial meal, blending tender chicken with perfectly roasted potatoes.

The setting at Fiorenzano is informal, catering to those who appreciate quick, delicious meals in a bustling local environment rather than a formal restaurant ambiance. High bar tables and a cash-only policy underscore its straightforward, no-nonsense approach. It's ideal for visitors eager to dive into authentic Neapolitan street food and for locals who know the value of genuine flavor over pomp.

Customer impressions highlight the freshness and quality of the food, often comparing it favorably to pricier establishments. The overwhelmingly positive feedback underscores Fiorenzano’s reputation as a culinary gem—offering robust flavors, affordability, and unpretentious charm that perfectly mirror the spirit of Naples.

A true gem of Naples. I had the pizzetta and parigina classica, my girlfriend had a panino napoletano. The flavor and freshness of each item was comparable to a restaurant where we would pay 20 euros +, but we only paid 5.50 euros. I cannot wait to come back!

A small family run business, right in the heart of local fish and veg markets. The mixture of intestine tasted so good with lemon juice and salt. I wish had more time and try other items on their menu.

We concluded our trip to the city of Naples by eating the fried "cuoppo di mare". Excellent conclusion I would say, tasty and not greasy food, normal price.

It’s by the marketplace, no proper dining, highbar table tops, quick fix for a fun delicious fish and chips, pizza by the piece and others.

Five stars because more is not possible! I was looking for grilled meat to take away and this place provides exactly what I needed and in huuuuge portions and low price! Half chicken or leg turkey for 5€. They also have other tipical food and the staff is genuinely nice, they were making jokes with all customers and bringing people humor up! :)

This review is for Fiorenzano as well as Tripperia Fiorenzano. I believe they are 2 different restaurants since you pay at each place separately. Tripperia Fiorenzano I was taking a food tour of Napoli in the Spanish Quarter and just as we started the tour I noticed this place. I am always down to try new food or something different so I asked about this place. It wasn't included in the tour but the tour guide said we could try it we wanted. I was the only person out of the group of 5 people who wanted to try it and I'm glad I did. Here you have offals, only boiled with salt and lemon. Tripe (stomach), snout, feet, intestines (chittlins), etc. I've had them all before but only boiled in salt and lemon? I really was amazed at how much flavor there was. And perfectly tender, not chewy at all. I really liked it and ate it all. The tour guide said she would take it home to her boyfriend if I didn't like it but I was like no, I'm eating it all. I really wished I could have this available to eat in the states at a reasonable price. Fiorenzano A great place to try authentic Napoli street food. Great food at reasonable prices. Not many tourists around when I was there just Napolitanos. You eat at tables standing up observing people going about their business. I love street food and I came back twice more while I was in Napoli. Oh the joy in just grabbing a suppli or arancini as a snack while you are out and about. Once again I wish we had street food like this back home.
